Orange Gringo? identification, frame number help

Hi all,

I'm getting back into cycling after some time off (long time) and I've dragged out my old Orange MTB that I got off a mate at uni some near 20 years ago. No idea how long he'd had it but he said he did some downhill comping so I'd assume not years but honestly no idea. It's a bit of a frankenstein with some aftermarket work but I'd like to get the frame down so I can start reworking it more to my liking (gravel bike, yes I know ).
It has two numbers stamped on the frame;
A419-7
0002620045

Oh, series 12 is on the badge, which I would have thought would make it easy to place but I've failed
