the frame takes a 31.6mm post i think glad alls ok but am a little sad to see it go

Can I ask - did you have the bike from new?
I reckon it is an O2 - not an Evo2 - which explains the 31.6 seatpost and ni disc mounts.

Has it been resprayed to your knowledge? Certainly seems to have been re-stickered
