USE seatpost with shim, together with a second generation (quote me if i'm wrong) Orange titanium saddle.

As you can see i'm going full XTR m900 on this one. except for headset XT and BB. :facepalm:

Got the canti's this morning (thank you remko) :xmas-cool:

Shifters/brakes en-route as i type.

Had the chainset for a while now, just need front and rear mechs.

That’s got my citrus juices going. Going for a very plush build. Yes a guess the E2 doesn’t get much love and attention. Really look forward to the final build, with of course the customary Orange saddle, I do like a good Orange saddle.

Thanks for the kind comments.

I thought i would show you the differences between the E2 and E3.

The first picture shows the extra strengthening done on the underside of the maintube on the E3 compared to none on the E2.

NOTE. all frame sizes are identical, both have 1" headtubes and seatpost diameters are the same.

The chainstays show the E2 on the left with the similar straight design that of the Elite compared to the curved design of the E3.

The last difference concerned the dropouts.

The E2 in the background has the exact same design as the Elite, compared to the totally redesigned E3.

Quick update,

Just put my XTR brake/shifters and canti's on only to discover the rear cantis have 2 left hand springs. :facepalm:

Bought these off RB several days ago,but this is the first time i've fitted them to the bike.

I'm assuming it was a genuine mistake by the seller, s**t happens!

So i'm after a right hand spring or even both a left and right springs just in case there is another mix up.

Anyone have spares?
