Orange Dynamo/ Roadie - a bit of an update

It came to myself, got refinished by Mercian in black pearl, kept the original chrome on the stays and forks :)

Fully rebuilt with Dura Ace 7400 kit then needed the cash for another project so stripped and sold...

I now think it resides in the Netherlands....

Funnily enough, that is what I would dress it with.

Could there be anything more European than an Orange made in Columbus tubing? Without wishing to sound like a xenophobe, it's got to be Campagnolo or perhaps Mavic.

I like how i live not 40 minutes away from halifax and for years and years i thought orange came from the USA with orange relating to california or something of the ilk...

I was shocked when i finally got one and read the headtube badge.

I'm not sure if anyone is still following this thread but I've owned a Orange Dynamo since '93, ridden it 20k+ miles, really love the bike and decided to reboot it this year, I'm interested in the history of Orange's road bikes and can't find much on line. Anyway hope someone is still following and can give me some info. Thank you.
Mike.
