Just took the original forks out, look in good condition. Date stamped 03/93.

Sort of finished my bike if anyone is still following this thread... Still need to tape the bars. Been out on it a few times, feels great after a bit of tinkering and a £15 pot of carbon paste, surprisingly super-smooth compared with it's previous incarnation.

Did everything myself apart from the crown race, which was brutally installed by some guy at Evans Cycles for free, a process I wish I hadn't witnessed.

Did you end up finishing your Dynamo build? Post some photos if you did, I'm really interested... thanks

Hi mikeyfive, sorry for late response, your dynamo looks really good, updated but done really tastefully. Rare beasts these dynamo's, am planning to have my dynamo 93 built up in the next couple of weeks now.. Am probably going to build it up with a more modern group set, got a ultegra 9 speed group set in silver knocking about, cinelli stem and bars, have decided to stick with the original forks I think, toyed with the idea of changing them, but will just regularly inspect. My dynamo is very similar, but with a slightly different head badge decal, but apart from that almost identical.. Anyway will put a thread up shortly. But you done a sterling job with your dynamo..
