I have a 1994 (I think) clockwork, looking at the orange web site it should have a 26.8 seatpost but it won't fit, a 26.6 fits fine would this be aright?
if it fits go for it as long as it doesnt slip down and you are not over tightening it. put some tape on the seatpost a few mm above the frame and then you would be able to see if it is slipping
