I used to own this very bike, sold it in 2018 after fixing the fork and giving it a general tidy up, I can tell by the o-ring I added to the stanchion to measure the travel, don't know why he's turned it round.
Fork was completely collapsed when I got it, to the point where the front tyre was dragging on the crown, this was the state of the internals:


added some home made elastomers and it was ok:

@oldscholar It's always strange to see your old rides crop up! It still looks to be in good shape 6 years on and the forks look well - you clearly did a good job there

£120 was a bit of a steal IMO with that fork as well. Anyone on here bag it?
