Orange clockwork bb size question

i have what i suspect is a 1994 orange clockwork but the bb fitted to it by a previous owner appears to be the wrong length as the chain rings sit way to far out to be of any real use. I searched through the brochures on here but exact deetails of the width across the square tapers is missing. I dont suppose anyone here happens to know the info i require please?

If you look how many mm closer you want the chainset to the stay,
Take out the bb, go to LBS and ask for a bb with the axle projection that many mm shorter on the drive side.

Some chainsets have bb length posted online, but not all.

When we see this on a bike, it's usually the PO had fitted a different chainset onto the existing bb rather than they've fitted the wrong bb onto the chainset btw

Can you tell us the model of the chainset...the collective may know the right size!
Sadly I junked all my old Shimano catalogues many years ago but some are still available online in various locations. They were great for actually publishing all the tech specs so information can be had with some judicious googling and a part number, usually.

Thank you all it was an old stx RC chainset but it's not in great condition. I have fitted an old FSA mega exo crank and BB as it's a restomod type bike as it's far from A1 condition though perfectly usable.
