update on the bike is not good. Front brake caliper was stuck solid on the boss and I had to use some force to free it. But the boss sheared off so the forks are f...ed. I'm just gutted and cant warrant spending any more money now :-(

Oops, just read your last comment, Sorry to year about your forks. I think those forks can be obtained on Ebay, am sure I saw some on currently, but obviously the colour scheme you had wont match . Gutted for you, although you could get some PACE forks, but its all a question of Money. Hope you find a solution !

Good news, Glad because its a beautiful bike, plus I prefer bikes with rigid forks personally. Am building up a 1992 Orange Clockwork. And yes it don't come cheap building bikes up! and the less hiccups all the better! Good luck look forward to seeing it finished!

I may single speed mine now and use v brakes. Will be selling the xt brakes etc
