Here we have a very nice set of Open 4 ceramic wheels, 36 double butted stainless steel spokes all round, they're mounted onto a Shimano 105(130OLN) hyperglide hub (8/9/10 compatible) from the 8 speed era.
The front is a very nice Mavic 501 hub.
As expected the front hub is buttery smooth and the rear 105 isn't too shabby either, rolls very nicely indeed with no grittiness or play in the axle. Freehub is in nice order and no play.
The rims themselves have barely been used however as you can see there's a chunk missing from the rear rim on the drive side.
All said & done these are a quality pair of wheels that aren't too heavy and cost a packet to have built up but are now sitting gathering dust in the spare room :cry:
I'm after £145 collected plus £9 for next day fully insured/tracked courier. I'll throw in two hutchinson tyres that were fitted that are in good order plus a couple of inner tubes, however the Shimano 12-26 8 speed cassette is not included but is available for an additional £14 if required..
