Retro Newbie
Hi, I've only just found this forum and have spent a good while looking at mountain biking kit which was current when I used to ride frequently but is now considered 'retro'. Man, when did I get old!

Anyway, after many years of inactivity, time has come to get back on a bike again and I've decided, after quite a bit of thought, that I should get a new bike.

On that note, I am going to be selling my 96 GT Pantera in the near future and don't really have the heart to put my old beastie on ebay and have it go to some unscrupulous so and so. Therefore, should I assume that this is the best place to sell it? I am not going to be looking for an extortionate amount of beer tokens but similarly, I can't afford to give it away. It's in really good condition and was only serviced last summer.

If the more regular members of the forum think someone might want to buy, and care for, my old thing, I'll get it put in the for sale section.

Thanks for any advice.

Dom.

and you could try a search on here and on ebay for another idea on prices.

After that have a read here

Keeps everything above board and transactions more pleasant.

Quite a few GT fans about and people that will cherish your old bike. Hang about for a bit though and have a browse, you may just find yourself wanting to keep it and fix it up. Otherwise GLWTS.

best place is to sell on here, hopefully you'll be able to keep track of your pride and joy
