Only the one pedal this time or Pedals, Pedals etc II

Not offended at all by finding out that the old pedals from the previous topic are not worth anything. As mentioned I am not a bike guy just one who came into a lot of parts. I did ask about a particular pedal that was different than I had ever seen: all metal with a solid profile (sorry no side picture). Any comment on age or what it is? Thanks.

Is this from an archaealogical dig by any chance :?: looks like something that was dug up at avebury a few years ago :shock: a bronze age pedal,must be worth something ;) :LOL:
 
For those interested (or not) I have found out:

This all aluminum grid design pedal style was issued during WW2 for CCM (Canada Cycle and Motor Ltd) along with a cast steel model. These products were made in lieu of the typical rubber pedal block style due to a shortage of rubber.

Interesting.
