Couple of English laws
Repealed in the '80's -all taxi's must carry a bale of hay in the boot[for the horse]

Bikes with 20" wheels can legally cycle on the pavement ,something to to with bed chairs[early wheelchairs]

The longbow law goes back far earlier - well before Agincourt in 1415.

In Oshkosh, WI it's a against the law to ride a bike without a bell....nobody does though, Law goes back to the early 1900's.

we're just as crazy, it seems. I've justy been informed by AgencyScum that it is still LEGAL in Monmouth to kill a welshman with a bow and arrow across the River Wye!

this is the same for citizens of chester if you find a welshman within the city after midnight, also all men by law may take wednesday afternoon off work to go to their local green and practice with their bow
