I had a go on these ebikes at the weekend, so so so comfy, comfier than my car or sofa.
No mechs, internal hubs (you can get either though) auto shifting if you want. Offroad versions.
This is a pic of the adapted ones, but anyone can ride them or get the standard ice trike one.
Biggest flaw, for a very unfit me who's not ridden for few years, I could still hit 30kph with a bit of effort effort, and cruise just under that.(I guess around the assist cut off).
The assist cut off is noticeable, a bit like when you hit a sudden headwind and have to actually pedal.
So these upright ones, lay back cruise and watch the world in comfort.
Have a go if you ever get the chance.

I wake up in the middle of the night, and can't go back to sleep until I put the battery on the charger.I can barely remember to charge my lights, phone or earphones so knowing me I'd never get any use out of an e-bike, as I'd wake up, try to turn it on and it'd be horribly low battery so I won't be able to use the highest boost setting to get the full electric moped experience.
After a few million miles that goes away.Tadpole trikes are great. Feel a bit vulnerable that low though. I only rode one for a few hundred yards though.
