No shame at all in that, and it is definite progress for Murray.
The gremlins in his attitude made only a brief appearance, but his serve was not the finely honed weapon I feel it could be made into. Lendl should be a great help with that.
Federer had to play his A game to put it away, he was only really hammering Murray a few times.
At the end of the day my Swiss compatriot did the business in the way only a true champion can.
Murray may never reach those heights, we shall see. A few weeks ago, when he was kicked out of Queens, if you suggested Murray would be in a close run Wimbledon final, (losing 3-1 to an all time champion who found his classic form), I think most of us would have taken that.
Next time Andy, and I think that will be sooner than next Wimbledon.
