OLMO Columbus Gara tubed 90's - Now in for sale thread.

Hi Chaps, can anyone point me in the direction of an Olmo fan, as I have just inherited a Olmo Culumbus tubed, full campag, mavic rimmed bike in blood red ! Im very happy and Id like to date it and will post pics soon. Thank you.

I'm not an aficionado, but I have an Olmo hung up in the shed awaiting some love.

I would imagine the best way to date it may be the groupset if it is original. Mine has got S-record on it.

What is the grade of columbus tubing?

Olmo

The sticker states Columbus and Gara, with the dove logo. Its older Campag Mirage groupset. Think the Shimano 105's on Mavic Open 4 CD's are a later edition maybe ? Cheers.

Think the Red and Silver Olmo Colunbus Gara frame is from late 90`s.

Not sure about the Campag stuff on it, but I think the standard bike came with Shimano 105, Cinelli bars and Cinelli XA stem.
