Gorgeous package, and the paint still has plenty of vibrancy, if the rust is only superficial once cleaned up the patina will look amazing.

great find and will restore beautifully , unicrown forks came along later so this design of forks was de-rigeur early 80s up till around 86, 87 ish and it also probably indicates hand built frame construction using frame tubing that has to be brazed and cant be TIG welded.
quality like this is becoming increasingly hard to find
