Old Ribble frame

Hi all, I am trying to fin some info for a old frame I have. I was originally told that it was a Ribble with 531 tubing, however the frame and fork seem light for that ith the fram being just over 1700g and the forks at less than 600. Campag dropouts, but no other ID markings on the frame. Thinking maybe 531 Professional

Hmm, not so sure, it's around 50-51cm and has pretty small lugs. My Witcomb is 1.7kg in 531. I'd agree it would be on the light side for a 55cm frame.

Hi, thanks for the reply the seat tube c-c is 53cm, and the top tube c-c is 54cm.

This is my Ribble in 531c, I was amazed how light weight it is for 531, have a similar size Raleigh 531db Professional frame that is 2kg though the fork is very light at 600g. My 53cm c-c Ribble is down to 1750g in bare metal with a light satin clear coat and 650g for the fork. Think it's late 80's early 90's with no frame number.

Could be 653? That’s lighter than 531 or 531 Pro. I had a pink/purple Ribble 653 that I sold - still regret selling it to this day.
