The bearing cups are pitted on my Club Roost pedals. Are there generic cups available or am I stuffed without OEM spares? I can only find big clunky ones online. I like these pedals so hoping to keep them going.
you could maybe smooth it with a small die grinding stone on a dremmel type tool then sand it with wet an dry
or even better fill it with weld an then smooth it ( prep it properly first an cut a v for the weld to sit in)
You got any old/unused/cheap pedals knocking around that you could strip down and see if their bearing cones would work?
I'd have thought somewhere must sell these though, in the same way you can get replacement wheel axles & cones? I can't nt find anywhere though :?
That's what I did in the end. We had the old bear-trap pedals from partners scrapped Proflex - thought they'd been binned. Rough as owt but all the wear was on the fixed cones & the adjustable cones were identical & in good order. Pay's not to throw anything away. The Club Roosts are nice & smooth now.
