Old Fiorelli frame

I picked up this old Fiorelli frame in terrible condition off eBay a few weeks ago, it has been badly butchered around the dropouts by a previous owner, but i'm willing to invest in it if it's a worthwhile.project as I have an almost full Gran Sport group set to hang off it. However, whilst it shares many features with the early 53 Fiorelli on https://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/readers_bikes/fiorelli-campione-del-mondo-1953/
It has also been suggested to me by the admin of the Fiorelli Facebook page that it is a very average mid 70s frame. I was hoping somebody with more knowledge than me of early Italian race bikes could shed some clarity on what this really is, or at least tell me how to identify if it's Columbus tubing or something similar and what age it really is.

No expert, but it looks worth saving. Weight would be a guide for tubing, if there are no visual tell tales. The lugs are nice, so what would make it 'average'? Straight gauge tubing? Plenty great bikes are straight gauge. Far too much cork sniffing, not enough bike saving.

The bare frame weighs approx 2300kg (5lbs) and the fork approx 0.7kg (1 1/2lbs) so whilst not light, it's not too bad. The tubes don't look seamed or anything, so seem to be of reasonable quality. I thought maybe Falck tubing or similar non Columbus Italian tube. The lugs are a bit rough, but then the whole frame is at the moment so it may well clean up better.
