Oiling Manitou Magnum

Hello

As my son's first retro project, we have been breathing life back into a Trek 6000 from about 1999/2000.

It has all the original kit including a Manitou Magnum fork (in a tasty purple with yellow decals!).

While it isn't top end kit, the fork is in vgc with no visible wear.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the correct tool to insert some fork lube into the oiling point on the fork leg please? Even better if you have one to sell for a small number of £££s!

Thanks for the link. What sort of grease would you recommend? A generic fork lube?

a good ptfe based grease such as SuperLube would be my first choice.

the original stuff was manitou prep m grease - available from bike-discount.de though i imagine r.s.p. Unisex's Slick Kick Special Grease, or rocksox butter would serve the same funcrion.
