I also much prefer the ride of Cannondales too, far cheaper and less painful...
That's interesting, I agree with that, I mean I prefer the ride of a 'Dale but a Klein is still "technically" a better ride. The older Cannondale frames were surprisingly light too. A small difference in performance, but a big difference in price....

Jimo I'd add that some of the newer frames are surprisingly light too. I bought a sad F6 bike in Stamford a few years ago, and it weighted...a lot. All Alivio and cheapo parts, including RockShox XC series forks which seemed to be made out of metals denser than the periodic table permits. Stripped it to the frame and the frame weighed.....nothing. Really featherweight - around 2.2kg if I remember correctly. Paired with some Race SIDs this is a seriously light bike.
