offset bushings on marins??

Hi all, sorry, been a while since on here.
Looking for advice!
Offset bushings..........good idea or not?
Think ultimately my frames a size too small but wondering if this might change the ride of my Marin rocky springs 140mm quad trail frame. Has anyone tried offset bushings on any quad trail frames, is it possible?
