Off road tyre recommondations please

Hi, Whats a good all round offroad tyre for Early Lavadome using mavic M221 rims. doesn't have to be retro - I actually what to use it off road and get muddy. on road performance not important. Any ideas - Thanks

I've used both these:

Panaracer Fire XC kevlar beaded

Kenda Nevegal StickE up front & DTC (dual compound) out back

Prefer the Kenda's but the Panaracers are pretty good all rounders too

one of only two tyres i could push into a corner at silly fast speeds without washing out and can be had cheap as the tread pattern is widely copied

I should say that I'm interested in tyres for muddy / wet conditions. Dry / firm and I will use the aformentioned semi-offroads.

panaracer fire xc work for me

Ive been using Panaracer Fire XC in 2.1 flavour, Very pleased with them and grippy as hell in the mud.
