also, how bad are the areas where the iridium coating is coming off?-i know once this starts, its a nightmare.

Pics now attached. The box also has a barcode on the rear that says "SUB-0 04 PLANET X/BLU CE MGRAU 05-004" so it's the original for this model.

The only place the iridium is slightly wearing is a small patch directly above the nosepiece. Other than that there's a small scratch on the right lens but otherwise very, very good. I'll try and show both in the photos to follow but it's not easy!
