Great ride this one, despite the complete no-show of my legs/downhilling restraint Cheers all for waiting for me, there's lesson for the newbies & nervous here - never felt like I was annoying the group as they had a tab and a natter waiting for me at the tops, t'is the friendly Retro way
The other lesson is wide bars on rigid old bikes do not make them competent downhillers - they just make them feel that way. Briefly. Before it rapidly gets far too hectic!
And another hats off to Paul too, I wouldn't fancy adding a trip over Cat & Fiddle to the end of the day, fair play :shock:
60psi next ride, which should ward off the now de rigour over-enthusiasm induced pinch flat. Although what it'll do to 20 year old amber-walls I'm not so sure...
