Bought this frame off ebay back around mid 2019, dallied with various ideas including selling as it was, but finally got round to stripping the paint,
Fairly sure its a Nuovo Mexico, 2 crimps on top tube, 4 crimps on downtube and some of the other Colnago features, chromed rear dropouts and drive side chainstay
Now the question what next?
Self paint and decal - anyone done this (chrome paint under colour?)
or
Get full on 'Saronni red 83' finish via somewhere like Woodrups in Leeds
Then build up
with near period Campag kit (some of which I have)
or
with 10 speed Record which I have and would be more rideable (wider gears and better brakes)
Frame as bought with a few parts, this was back in 2019
After paint strip, fork is full chrome, generally ok, just a couple of pitted areas, but hope it will polish up well
