nuke hub spacing

i have just put my front wheel in pace rc35 forks the hub flanges seem very close to the bottom of the fork stanchions does it just need a couple of washers on to space it out?

Could you please tell me what kind of Nuke hubs you are using.
I have some and have never had any clearing problems with the flanges.
Maybe I can help you out.

A photo would be cool if possible, I'm struggling to picture what you mean exactly and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
