I'm sorry...I put my comment under the wrong entry, it should refer to the 1951 replika bike, which unfortunately isn't owned by the forum member who posted it...

And "yes", happy to share the Koga / brodie, right now, they are in a...let's call it "transition mode" (see picture).

By the way, the Koga frame is for sale, if s.o. would be interested, full picture series here:

That La Perle is lovely and well worth a vote (or several) but at the same time i understand why it has to be "own bikes only",i think i saw a similar machine at the bygone bikes gathering at shelf this year,not this one by any chance?

Here is my late 70's Pinarello Team Montello.

Bikes history: It has been one of the Norwegian pro, olympic champion (1972) and WC champion (1973) Knut Knudsens http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knut_Knudsen bikes. I bought it from one of my fellow riders in the local bike club whos mother is related to Knut Knudsen. Knut Knudsen rode on the Jollj Ceramica/Pinarello team between 1974 and 1978.

Nice Koga it is. An early carbon one. Only the model with the steel reinforcement wires was earlier. A distinctive paint btw. The new owner needs to be a flamboyant or extravert person.

I especially like the shift levers that you can see in the detail photos. I don't remember ever having seen these "Pinarello" levers before. I am however not quite certain about the provenance, as your bike has the portacatena rear drop-outs that are generally thought to have been launched in 1978 when Knudsens was already riding for Bianchi. If you can get absolute confirmation that it is indeed Knudsens' old bike, this would move the launch of these dropouts back by one year.
