I am not sure. I read something about these a while ago and seem to remember they were less efficient than a Son hub dynamo. But a lot lighter as well.. They have a lot of info on their website. (obviously; they're German)I've seen them and like the fact they're not wearing your tyre out. I did wonder if slipping would be an issue, or if the drag was improved.
If I had to use a dynamo (I don't do enough night riding) It would be a hub dynamo for me.I am not sure.
