They used a Moulton branded Cyclo Benelux Sport with special hanger on the swinging arm. Moulton branded period products are rare and expensive. Sold a knackered Benelux on ebay, went to Bangkok, about a year later stumbled across a cool hotel in central Bangkok owned by a Thai Moulton collector and he bought the old mech for the main spring replacement on his Safari. ..small world .

Did not someone ride end to end on a Moulton speed 6 and set a new time back in the 70's ?

@bagpuss I am trying to find the times, I have failed. They had a lot of racing success. I will keep looking.

John Woodburn took the Cardiff to London record in 1962 on a Moulton Speed. He also went on to take the end to end record in 1982 at the age of 45 on a 753 Stan Pike...
