One point I would agree with is that in many ways the switch to mass produced Far Eastern manufacture has been to the detriment of many cycle makers. How many of the brands that myself (and others) hold core to the 'retro' scene were speeded into extinction by the availability of cheap 'high end' alloy frames from the Far East?
