I actually had a set of these moose bars on my Raleigh Maverick in 1986, after 6 months they broke and needed re welding. They looked pretty though.

Just like the ones I fitted on my 1950s Rudge in about 1963 when the 4 speed alloy SA hub ripped itself apart and the only replacement I could afford was a fixed wheel.
