The Ken MacRetro Rider Feedback View Sep 12, 2011 #5 sorry need a 73 - I "think" the only difference for an e-type is a larger flange at one end for retaining the e-type bracket, no reason why it couldn't be used on non e-type that I can see.

marc two tone Retrobike Rider Feedback View Sep 12, 2011 #6 e type all you have to do is fill the gap to keep the axle centred when using with a non bb mount front mech. i used one of these... http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=36416 2.5 mm. working just fine(for me).this measurement was the same as the 'blank' non-threaded bit where the e-type bracket would sit.
