Pretty cool. IIRC, Scott had something similar on some of their earlier 90’s bikes from the factory. Not sure if the bars were branded as Scott though.

I'm sorry but I don't have any scales, they're not 531 if you get my drift, also Brifters? aren't they a roadie thing? or do you mean the xt/xtr mtb ones? if so they should fit

Should work, mine are not the same bars though as in they don't get alot thicker in the middle.
These are 91 XT brifters.
