NOS - Skinwall tyres, flat bars and grips 22/8/09

I've just checked my old Dawes because something was bugging me, and my "front" tyre is a Mythos 1.95R, that would make it a rear tyre! Its been on there for over 14 years :roll: but its an amber wall, so wouldn't match yours

anyway, is there a postage discount for a pair

Well I started the F and R thread and looks like it shouldn't be a major problem.

Oh, and I'll take another tyre please!

Would it matter to use those Mythos as a pair :? ie using one on the back?
might go for a pair.

I've never tried them, there is a thread on the retro MTB chat about using F tyres on the R, worth checking that out. Any one who's had 2 off me had any experience?

Took mine out on the Killi at the weekend to Llandegla and to be honest I couldn't tell I had a pair of fronts on there were no nasty suprises and they seemed to grip quite well (for an old school tyre .

I've got a set of these from 'Fixies and I just did what we used to do BITD and reversed the rear tyre (ie flipped it round) to create a rear tyre and it works beautifully - anyone who used to use Farmer Johns will know this trick!

Go for it guys, a set of amber wall folders for £20, where else are you going to get 'em?
