Doesn't 7 speed have a thread on the outside of the freehub?

Only in Shimano's early 7 speed which were 6 speed uniglide-compatible.

Yes it is certainly 7 speed, you can tell the freehub body is narrower than 8/9 when you have it in your hands.

If anyone wants to make an offer I'll consider it.
