Good luck with your sale. However I think those prices are extremely optimistic NOS or not.

Yeah I'm thinking that I'll go with the 2000 and 4000 buy it now option. The guy at the shop said that since next month is the Mountain Biking Hall of Fame that someone may see and decide they can't live without it and buy it now. He said that I should be optimistic just due to the fact it has 0 miles and custom from the factory paint.

I hope he's right!!!

Sure, worst case it won't sell.

Keep in mind that the much rearer and more desirable Valkyrie with a matching rigid fork has sold twice in the last 6 months for around $2600, so...

The one I got was $2500, and it had a switchblade, and instead of having it shipped, I volunteered to make the 6-hour drive from San Diego to Phoenix to pick it up to ensure it wouldn’t get damaged during shipping. Although the 6-hour drive back to San Diego was grueling, I had a grin on my face the whole way knowing that I had scored a Valkyrie. Woo hoo!

....and now I see that this Flying V is also in Phoenix........hmmm.....

I’m tapped out at the moment :( (so where’s the emoticon with empty pockets?), but I think I’d sell a kidney to be able to afford this Flying V.

Mods: Is this the correct forum to sell a 52-year-old kidney?
