Anyhow, I mean... home grown terrorism poses more of a threat than that of, for example, Islamic extremists.

Cumbria... Derrick Bird guns dead 12 innocent people.
Hungerford... Michael Ryan wanders around the streets, kills 16 people.
How many 'High School shootings' are there in the US?, Who was responsible for the massacres in Mumbai? And now Norway.
None of the above had links to Islamic extremists, all of them were terrorist acts as a result of individuals becoming disenfranchised for whatever reason.
Whilst the West wages war in the Middle East, its own citizens are becoming bitter and angry and planning their own acts of devastation.
