The tyre and inner tube have probably been on since Sept 2010 so it's had good use, to be honest I hadn't realised how much the sidewalls had perished. RIP Smoke.

I it looked like you all had a cracking day out and the weather was great too and i'd of loved to have tagged along but hopefully next year as ive not got any proper gear as yet and my bike isn't quite what you'd call retro but their again i've no true idea of it's age :? ..

Plenty of rides coming up Muddy - so long as you've got something safe to ride it really doesn't matter what age it is, you'll be very welcome. You'll find that retros will just appear in your garage* after a while anyway...

I'm in the middle of sorting out my push iron atm as i've just got some new rigid forks which i've got to alter and i'm trying to decide on a head stem as i've got my original quill stem which is a tad short for my liking and i've also got one off an old Rock rider but it needs some attention and i don't know if it will be usable tbh so i'm on the look out for one to fit a 1" steerer and be at least 120mm long and i just need help truing my rear wheel to so not to much to do and the wife would kill me if i tried keeping bikes in the living room or kitchen so i'll make do and mend with the hall for now even though it's a bit of a squeeze lol :cry: ..
