What Pace forks are they, not seen a set with the two tier carbon legs like that. Is that a black brace too? Look like a set of early RC35's, but different somehow.

Just a set of early RC35's without decals. I've got some and they're luuurvely. Seen a few with ano crowns. Maybe an option bitd?

I've got a set too, but mine taper off rather than looking like an externally butted tube. I like the way that these look though, angular and cool!

Think these were the first ones they made. Mine (below) are the same but have slightly later decals. :D

May I ask which shop? need some wheels building.

Holloway cycles charge £25 for build. They built my wheel very well. Except they didn't use the spokes i asked them to use. So gave back and asked to tell me the correct length of spoke i should buy then i will buy the DT Revolution in the correct length.

Nice clockwork. On the topic of the forks, which decals are newer, as I'm renovating mine and want to get new decals. Which ones shuld be there? Mine only have the pace on the legs at the moment.

Cheers and sorry for the thread jacking.

Ian

I believe the first model just had 'Pace Racing' on the lowers, the next having the same as mine. After that the brace changed and they had a large foil decal around the top section. ;)

The other week there was an old Kona (ti one I think) around the corner from me on Archway Road. There's also an old clunker looking bike with massive bars and what looks like very high quality suntour levers.
