Nortel.le SLX retro-mod

I've spent enough time lurking here without posting a bike, so, here's one I made earlier (this morning).
It's a bit of a retrobike special - I bought the frame on here from Foz a few years ago, and most of the groupset was gathered here in dribs and drabs over the last few months.
This has been slowly coming together over the month or two, rebuilding the shifters etc, and realising at the last minute that I forgot to get chainring bolts :)

So, here's my Nortel.le, all the way from the Basque country, now languishing in a drizzly corner of Staffordshire. Early 90s frame, with early 00s parts.
Columbus SLX frame, 3T Mutant stem (NOS), new Record headset, new Cinelli Giro D'Italia Bars, Miche seatpost, Chorus hubs with DT RR411 tubeless rims. Record/Chorus mix groupset with a Miche cassette.
Tyres will be replaced with something more flimsy and period-looking when these wear out, and the chainset will be replaced with Record and a nice titanium BB once I find the right bolts.
Surprisingly light and stiff, but doesn't like to be ridden out of the saddle.
Yes, that is Zipp bar tape on a Campag bike. No, I'm not sorry.

I like what you've done with it! Great frame and it rides really well :)
Just one mistake though - it's not Basque but Valencian!
Nortel.le actually started up again a couple of years ago, only painting (and maybe some repairs, not sure on that). That have an Instagram page, and do very nice work!
