Learning how the fork goes together before I commit totally to rebuild as Im nervous about it lol.

Current status. Fork just has air in it no oil but damn I like to look at this. Thinking 1x10 or 11 with silver cassette although catalog resto would look great as well. I will leave the ti American seat post to go with the ti Bontrager bar.

Anyone know how the bottom dials come out of the fork?

I'm pretty sure that Dr Zocchi has scanned service manuals on his website. Good source for seals and parts as well if you need them

1. Deflate
2. Press the top cap in
3. Take the security ring out.
4. Grind the corrosion off from the inner stanchion
5. Pull the top cap out
6. Use a long HQ (!) inbus to unscrew the inner bottom screw. It needs a lot of force. Better warm it up a little (be carefull with the paint!). Rotate carefully relft/right to get the screw into movement.

Got a bit of time to work on the Rampage today. Got it assembled and cabled. Aired up the fork just for photos, still not refurbished it yet….next lol
