non zolatone 1990 pine mountain?

I am just about to start painting my 1990 frame. I can't be arsed to
brew a zolatone look. So I was thinking either a plain yellow or maybe yellow with some splatter.
Was there a plain color, or splatter, pine available at the time?

Check out my Marins for some inspiration. The 1990 catalogue states the zolatone matt gray/neon orange as the only colour combination. But i have seen green and white 1990 Edridge Grades with the splatter pattern, too. So it would be no crime to do so. The more splatte rthe better..but that's just my two cent.

While Zolatone was supplied into Europe, the USA and other regions got conventional paint I believe.

I saw the pics of Juice's yellow Eldridge, it was what made me think of splatter.

Pretty sure thats the 1989 model. I have one I am slowly (very) rebuilding.

According to the frame number it's a 1990, but may have been an early one before the switch over.
