well its work related:
a customer complaint about a product they sent back to us, they also threw in this small pin saying that it was found near the product after it went all faulty (apparently gave a shock and blew the car fuse)
product in question is an in-car USB socket adapter.
i'm trying to identify this part to:
eliminate it from the inquiry, but also, if its relevant, it could be the reason the situation occurred in the first place.
its also bugging me because i know i've seen this sort of part before but cannot put my finger on it.
Looks like some kind of contact pin , like a horn ring contact but a bit small , maybe out of a switch or heater control .
It might have dropped between the usb and the lighter contact which would pop the fuse .
