I can't see it benefiting the consumer at all, after all you will have to buy a bike that says trek on it now should you want one. I'd get one now too I reckon in 2 years it'll be Gary who? It appears that the last ten years GF was really pioneering the 29er stuff some really innovative product, now thats more under Treks wing it'll gradually fade into more boring boring bikes. Look at Klein.

Very cool. I'm a sucker for cruisers and 29ers.

But so much for supposedly better availability - None of the interesting Gf stuff is listed for European markets - that cruiser MTB; cargo bikes; the nice urban fixie...

Looks like the same as ever: Crap availability outside the US on the nice/ interesting stuff :roll:

But I guess if I'm the only person in Europe who wants a 4m long cargo bike monster or a 29er cantilevered cruiser, then Trek distributors aren't going to stock them solely for my benefit

CR7 was quite a technologically advanced bike when it came out but we're talking well before the Trek beast startted taking over lol

That cruiser looks pretty nice though
