No bottle cage bolts.

I was wondering if anyone can help me find a nice looking way to atrach a bottle cage to a frame with no bolts. I have a 1970's Witcomb bike I am restoring and have chrome cable clips on the top bar so wouldloke something that goes. Any help greatfully exexcepted.

Only ever seen those flexible galvanised clamps.

I dont think you can get bottle cage clamps new anymore so EBay is your friend or put a wanted add for chrome bottle cage clamps on here. TA did nice clamps but these tend to be expensive. REG made a cheaper version. Below is a photo of my REG bottle and clamps;

Are you desperate for a bottle cage.......the clamps make a mess of the paint. Back in the 70's we used tape to try and protect the frame but still got scratched..

Decathlon do a modern black plastic fitment. Not in any way retro, but would do the job and would be kinder to the paintwork

I might try and make some with a thin rubber backing to protect frame.

Or get some large P-clips and bend the tabs so they're symmetrical and not P shaped.

Not exactly period correct but you could also try handlebar mounted water bottle
