no worries. It looks worse in the images than it really does IRL, but if you're after totally pristine then its not that certainly.
If thats the case I would just buy new TBH - any use and there will be some marks for sure. The bottom part finish issues on mine are not scratches - just some interaction between the post, frame and grease when it was on a bike for a relatively short amount of time - a few months maybe - have subtly mottled the satin surface finish.

I have a Kalloy (300mm) unused…yours for postage…it was 400mm and got it cut down by a local engineering workshop…so smooth with a mark to show the minimum insertion point…it is bright silver….i can do a photo if required….post after Christmas if you are interested.
