Such fun was had during the night ride that I bought myself some new to me lights. Admittedly I'm a slow rider in the dark but the spot beams sported by the others were impressive......when they worked and thus I thought I might be able to power forward a bit quicker if I could see further.
Thus I've nabbed a Light & Motion Solo Logic MV mtb light/charger/battery and bits for just under £20 off ebay. 2nd hand of course but with full spares back up and battery ugrade from NiMH to Li-ION possible according to company website. Old school bulb lighting not this LED nonsense
Three settings 13 Watts- 2 hours, 10 Watts - 3 hours, 6 Watts - 5-6 hours with a low power warning system.
If it doesn't work I'm only down £20 but the ebay dealer seems to have a good rep so hopefully I'll be lit up like a christmas tree on our next outing.
