That measurement is from minimum insert to bottom of saddle rails.

Thanks for the information, Deveron. The picture in your thread shows a Spanks Seat post (not Inline). Even though 20cm would be just fine for me, I would be able to buy the same one - new and uncutted - for 18 posted.
